Free Worship Loops & Motion Backgrounds
Five slow-moving designs — Aurora, Bokeh, Nebula, Rays and Starfield — each in a warm and a cool color version. They're built to sit quietly behind lyrics, scripture and prayer slides without pulling attention from the words. Preview any loop below and download the MP4 for free. Royalty-free for church and ministry use.
Using motion loops in ProPresenter and on livestream
In ProPresenter
Drag the MP4 into your media bin, then apply it as a background to the slides or playlist that need it. Set the video to loop so it keeps running while slides change on top. Because these loops are designed to repeat, the end flows back into the start without a visible jump.
Keep lyrics readable
Motion should support the words, not compete with them. Use white or light text with a subtle shadow, and if a section of the loop gets bright, add a dark overlay or lower the video opacity. The cool versions tend to suit reflective songs and prayer; the warm versions suit celebration and welcome moments — but it's your room, so trust your eyes.
On livestream
For online services, place a loop behind lower-third lyrics or scripture, or use it full-screen with a title during pre-service and transitions. Busy, high-detail motion compresses poorly on streams, which is one reason these designs stay slow and soft.
Pair it with sound
A loop on screen and a worship pad in the speakers is an easy way to make prayer and response times feel intentional. Starting the service? Try the free 5-minute countdown. Need message slides too? Grab the free sermon slides template.
